What types of metals can I clean with Cape Cod Polishing Cloths?
Our cloths are safe and effective for use on silver, gold, pewter, brass, copper, bronze, nickel, chrome, aluminum, and stainless steel. They are not recommended for use on brushed stainless steel or plated items.
How long does shipping take for domestic orders?
Standard domestic orders are processed within 1-2 business days and typically arrive within 3-7 business days via USPS or UPS, depending on your location.
What is your return policy for opened products?
Due to the nature of our polishing products, we can only accept returns on unused and unopened items in their original packaging within 30 days of purchase.
Are Cape Cod Polish products safe for jewelry?
Yes, our cloths are excellent for fine jewelry. However, they should not be used on satin or brushed finishes, and you should avoid contact with porous stones like pearls, opals, or turquoise.
Will the cloths dry out if the tin is opened?
As long as you return the cloth to the resealable foil pouch and close the tin tightly, the cloths will stay moist and effective for a long period. If they do dry slightly, a few drops of mineral oil can revitalize them.
